working G | Local (Escondido, CA) farm owned and operated by a wonderful Mexican descent family uses a G model 'Spider tractor' daily to plant and cultivate row crops. It has its battery hanging in a wire basket from the rear, where it swings back and forth as the machine rumbles down its path. I am a mechanical engineer, and have been fabricating special cultivator shoes that do not turn the soil, but shear weed roots with fixed knives.
