The leak from the weep hole starts because the shaft bushing has worn out and caused the seal to fail. Seems you have two options: Pull the pump out and take to a good repair shop and ask them to rebuild it; or adapt a different pump. Preferably off of something common like a chevy.
If first option can't be worked out, consider the second. A good hydr. hose dealer can make up adapter hoses.
