: What size wire would you recommend to replace whats on my 6volt Farmall? I know I need some big stuff, but how big? 6 guage? 4? 2? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Craig, 2 guage is more than enough. I replaced the original 1 guage with NAPA 1 guage for the ground to battery, battery to starter switch and the starter switch to the starter. 10 or 12 guage is more than enough for wiring to the lights, generator, coil. If money is not a problem, run 10/3 or 12/3 to the generator. Use two of the wires for the generator and snake the third one down to the coil. That is how the original wiring bundle was crafted. Too bad nobody has come up with a reproduction for the older Farmalls. Do not know of one for my H's. John
