: What size wire would you recommend to replace whats on my 6volt Farmall? I know I need some big stuff, but how big? 6 guage? 4? 2? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Depends on what your running. I've had good luck for general rewiring
using #12 MTW (Machine Tool Wire) for ignition, lights, regulator, etc.
I use #10 or #8 MTW for the gen wire. Of course, #2 Extra Fine Welding
is best for the battery leads. You can get MTW at any industrial electric
supply house, or ask a local electrician for some. Should be able to
do the whole tractor with 50'. Another tip - invest in a Kline brand
crimper and use only T&B crimp on connectors. The others just won't
take the vibration.
