Are you sure it's the coil thats failing? Our 1010 is notorious for bad starting, sputtering under load,it all is caused by moisture in the distributor cap. Wipe it dry and she runs fine. we can't fiqure out why it "sweats" but our 1010 hates cool damp weather.
