The price is too high! An 8N for that price
maybe..if it checked out ok. I currently own three
8N's. One I have completelyrestored (not for
sale), number two i've had since '93 and is just a
good old work tractor...smokes a little but not
bad enough to warrant overhaul...number three
(I just bought it a few days ago) is a nice old
'51 with side distributer and is checking out
better than I thought it would. The prices I
paid for the three average real close to $2200.
I saw a good looking 8N sell for $2075 this
past weekend but would rather have mine without
the fancey paint job. Hope this helps.

: I have never owned a tractor, but I have about five acres(recently aquired) and want to mow, till, grade our road, and other stuff. Would this be a good tractor for me. The owner wants $2450. Is this a good price. Does anybody have any information at all??
