Was playing around on google the other day and found a 136 piece craftsmen general mechanic's tool set that they sell to the Military for 2000 bucks..Times may have changed, but the Military used to buy tools at a lower price without the warrenty............
OTH, I have SK and craftsmen, even some snapon that I accumulated over the years. Also have CRS and what my wife calls messy syndrom.
Needed some wrenches and bought a set of 48 SAE&metric with several different designs for 25 bucks with a lifetime warrenty at a chopstick store. Neighbor needed a big wrench for something on a plow, ne's also got CRS when borrowing tools and would tear up a sledge hammer so I gave him one from the cheap set. He put a pipe over the end and ended up breaking off the bolt and the wrench is still fine.......
