Bill, Go with the majority, Intertec's Shop Manual for Ford 2N,9N,8N says 1-2-4-3 for all the little fords. You can get these books at most farm supply stores (Central tractor etc.) They are around 18.00 but if you plan on keeping the tractor and working on it at all, They are worth the money. The book you need is FO-4. Good luck , Dan J.
