Take off the side inspeciton plate. Don't stick
your hand inside anytime the tractor is running.
Start the 8n, raise and lower the 3pt hitch while
looking inside the housing. If you see any
hydraulic fluids spraying about you probably have
a leaking gasket somewhere. Thats the first thing
I would look for. Could be lift cyclinder leaking
around the rings on the piston??? I replaced mine
with one used on the NAA generation. It has a
rubber O-Ring instead of steal rings. Hope this
helps.
