: What do you do for a 1969 tractor with 4 cyl. gas engine. Put lead additive or what? High octane gas only? Ordoes anything for gas work?

I have a 1959 MF 65 gas, a 1953 Ford NAA, and a 1938 Farmall F-20, all in daily use on the farm. Lead substitute is a must. I have best luck with CD2 brand. For heavy work, double the quantity in the tank. All three of my tractors like the highest octane available. Watch out for gas with detergents or other additives. Tractor plugs and carbs don't like some of them. In NJ during the winter months, we are blessed with oxygenated gas. The tractors refuse to burn it reliably. Fouled plugs, dirty valves, no power, etc. I get my gas in bulk during the summer so I don't have to burn oxygenated in the winter.
