As I have said elsewhere, don't go by the price guide. One who goes by the price guide alone will pass up many a good tractor. In the PA/NJ/DE/MD region tractors easily sell for 10-25% more than what they are listed for in the price guide.
: :In primium condition that yr. $3760 for gas, 4440 for a diesel -- per 1998 price guide. Premium means in new condition. Sounds like the owner really does not want to part with it.


: Have a line on a 550 that I've been loking for but the owner states it is a 1975. I'm more familiar with the mid-60's version and was wondering if the were any major changes in this tractor and/or any pitfalls that I should lood for. the owner wants $5700 which seems a bit high but it is in excellent condition and has less than 2000 hrs on it. What do you think?
