It's a good idea (when you start a stored tractor) to shoot a little oil in each cylinder and turn it over (by hand) a few times before starting. Unless it seizes though, I wouldn't worry. The rear main seal requires pulling the motor and spliting the case. Personally, I'd by a drip pan and check the oil before each use (duh). Allis' leak, it's part of their charm.
