I said this all before, but I think it bears repeating. When people like Buick have spent all their lives chasing their tails. It's like I told you before "People who live there lives for praise and admiration, not for there own self respect" become deeply offended when anyone does not admire their stuff. If you don't want what they have, if your not jelous, if you find worth in a man's character, (this matters not if he is a janitor, or a doctor), they are left with nothing. That, Mr. Buick, is how we acheive our sense of worth (not pride) as you put it.
