: : Is this a Kohler? If so it'll be expensive to fix. Think about Northern Hydraulics and their fairly inexpensive Briggs or Techumsa lines. Also Honda makes some very good engines similarly priced to Kohler.

: Northern is a great source of cheap engines, but this Cub needs to be able to take power off of both ends of the crank, if it is like mine. The flywheel end drives the transmission and the pto end runs the accessories. I have three 7 hp Kohler engines that might be the beginning of a solution for you. Paul pscholand@rc.net
