A couple days ago I was out lubing my 350 john deere when I glanced out over my field and seen someone kneeling down out in the middle of my sweet patato patch. I quickly jumped on big john and started out across the field. When I got about 200 feet from the intruder, It became apparent that this thing was'nt a man but a sasquatch or big foot!!!. I thought to my self saying no way!, it's probably my brother pulling another practical joke. This time the joke is on him, I slaped big john into gear and headed right for him, intending to veer at the last second to scare the hell out of him. To my shagrin as I began to veer left, the intruder jumped in front of me and grabbed on to the front fender of the tractor. I violently slammed against the steering wheel when I noticed that the intruder was holding the front of my tractor off the ground. Now I knew this was'nt my brother! he only weighs about a buck 5 and is lucky when he's strong enough to hoist a beer.
Panicing, I jumped from the raised tractor, just clearing the rear wheel which was still in gear and augering it's way into the sod. I headed for home and never looked back!! The next day all that was extrudeing out of the ground was the front wheels. Who the hell says farming is'nt an exciteing occupation!!!
Moral of this story! Don't grow sweet patatos!!
