This response edited from a similar thread on the Farmall list several months ago:
Serial numbers for the Super C are all above 100001, straight C are below those. The Super C has disk brakes, and the C has band brakes. Super C had engine temp and hydraulic temp guages, water pump, thermostat, and the sheet metal sits about an inch taller (the grills are not interchangeable). The Super C's engine has 3 1/8" bore pistons instead of 3". The engines look the same from the outside, but did have different casting numbers as the later received larger sleeves. Both had live hydraulics and the majority (if not all) of the implements would interchange, even a fast hitch can be fitted to the C(woln't say easily).
