My in-laws mow about 3 acres of heavy stuff and have just worn out a Motgomery Ward brand which replaced the Sears Brand which replaced the....you get the idea. They are tired of messing around and have decided to part with the money for the best in business; John Deere. If that is still too high then look at Ariens. I have an Ariens push mower that is over nine years old and is like new. Excellent quality across the line. The good stuff costs.
