I took the walk myself about 2.5 yrs ago, was a traveling engineer for top semiconductor mfg. Co. Money was the problem they paid me all I needed and I spent all I got so the trap goes... but have since broken the loop and taken my (our) life's back. If you plan to have a family (or already have one) do not let money determine your path or at least keep it to a min. I still work some of the time as a "tecki" but I fix tractors and lawn mowers raise, sheep, goats, chickens, and do the best I can with kids.
