jim, i recently bought a craftsman garden tractor.
25 horse; 50 in cut. had real good luck with it.
in my opinion, craftsman represents good value
for the money.
they are not the best. that label would have to
go with JD, toro or honda. but i couldn't afford
their price tags, so back to craftsman i went.
i have 35 acres of fairly clean pasture. i brush
hog it occasionally, but i am
not afraid to mow with the craftsman occasionally.
it is fun to drive -- definitely get hydrostatic.
personally i'm not a big murray/mtd fan. in my
opinion the craftsman is a better all around
value.
