Is is possible to convert an old plow from the conventional, long nose shares to bottoms that use modern, steel (radex) shares? I imagine the frog won't line up to the holes on the beam, but new ones could be made. Does anyone have experience doing this or know which bottom I should look for, (for a JD #44 2-14"). I would like to make the plow more economical to use. Thanks
