: : The '52- '53 models are Golden Jubilees. The '54 model is an NAA. A '53 Jubilee can be called as an NAA, but a '54 NAA should not be called a Jubilee.
: : I think the transmission gear ratios were slightly different between the '52- '53 and the '54 models, but I do not have the numbers before me.
: : Call them what you want. Lots of folks call a '54 NAA a "Jubilee." It is essentially the same tractor. The 600-series Ford tractor is essentially the same tractor, too, but few would call a 600 a Jubilee.

: Dan, maybe you can clear this up for me, why is there an emblem with "GOLDEN JUBILEE" and an emblem on some NAA's with just "JUBILEE", and some have 4 stars?

Pretty good point. Has anyone read "Vintage Ford Tractors", by Robert Pripps? Interesting stuff on the '53 Golden Jubilee and the '54 Jubilee. The book describes why these all of these were called Jubilees and all were called NAA tractors. Only the '53's were called Golden Jubilees. Seems like this discussion keeps coming up? :-) I own a 9/2/8N :-) Parts from all three.
