I recently installed a used external hydraulic control valve on a Ford 850. When I tried it on a 2-way hydraulic cylinder, the cylinder extended when moving the control lever one way but when I move it the other way the cylinder doesn't retract and one of the lines is under high pressure such that I can't disconnect it from the coupler. Any help would be appreciated.
