I think it is a tuff disition, the 9ns also
had aftermarket runing bords,late modle 8ns
have a side mount distributer witch is easer
to werk on. Not all 8ns have a flip up seat
and 9ns have independentbrakes too, the disadvantig
is that they are on oposit sides wers the 8n
has them both on the same side.
I wold go with the 8n.
