I have an Oliver Mdl. BDRHL, S/N 1JM100. This seems to be an odd duck, since no-one that I've talked to knows much about this model.
Part numbers match the "Oliver Parts Book for Model BD Crawler Tractor" printer October 15, 1950. What it is: a crawler with skip loader; has a Hercules 6 cyl. diesel engine (engine nameplate says RL821272; letters below that are DJXC. Maybe these are Hercules S/N and Mdl. No.). The engine runs good, but she burns a little oil. There are 2 broken track links that I am trying to replace. The hydraulics are good. The electrical system is newly rebuilt; including starter mtr, generator, starter solenoid. There isn't much more to the electrical system. I'm trying to find parts to get her running again, then I'll use her for some grading. I would be interested in selling her after that.
I have 2 questions: Do you know how to contact the Oliver-Hart-Parr club on-line? Can you help me find track parts or other parts for this Oliver Crawler? If you have answers, or would like to discuss more about purchasing, please reply.
