: : : I purchased a Ford 2000 series tractor but I can't interpret the serial number. The number stamped above the started motor housing is 21300 and under that one is 28032 followed by diamond. Can someone tell me exactly what I bought? Thanks

: Kevin,

: What does the "C5 NN 6015" mean stamped on the right hand side (if sitting in the seat) of my engine block mean?

: Thanks,
: Rick

Kevin (or anyone else that can help),

I found the number "*N265795* on the R/H base of the engine block where the pan bolts on. I thought that the number was supposed to start with a "C"? The numbers 7D13 (first row) and *B8 36289* (second line) were found on the right front corner of the transmission? The B8 part of this number was considerably lighter and smaller than the 36280 part. What does all this mean? All I want to know is that I do have a Ford 3000 and what year is it?

Thanks,
Rick
