If the unit is slow and jerky this indicates a couple of problems. One the Rockshaft cylinder and piston (unit under the seat) sounds like it is scrached and can't hold any more. The other would have to be the main hydraulic pump in the lower part of the rear end housing which is more involved work. If you have remote hydraulics on the tractor and they are working fine then most likely the problem is the Rockshaft Cylinder and Piston.
