Spent 21 years in Japan as a missionary. Kubota is
a great tractor but thru the help of VP Gore and
the Trade Commission the Kubota name must be
removed at port of entry. Again all small tractors
are made overseas. Yesterday I purchased an Iseki
30HP with front end loade, 56" new tiller,
post-hole digger brushhog 5', finishing mower 6',
box blade and will be adding a trenching tool and
a backhoe later. Iseki makes the Massey. The
American model of all foreign tractors have only a
one speed PTO. Most foreign small tractors have a
3 or 4 speed PTO. In Knasas I ran a 6' finishing
mower at 2200 RPM and it cut sunflowers like they
were grass. You must run the brush-hog at 540
speed because it is not balanced. A long time ago
the Japanese learned that you can till the ground
at a very slow speed at 2200 RPM and it would area
te the soil and the crops would grow quicker and
better. Americans are just learning that.
The Iseki I pick up next week is 18 speed forward,
6 reverse, 4 speed PTO, 4 wheel drive. Yanmar,
Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Hinomoto are all great
tractors.
I am now looking for used or new PTO/chipper,
3 point hydralic root grubbler, 3 point hookup for
using a receiver hitch and a 3 point concrete
mixer. If you know these let me know at:
