W-9, if it runs good, is an excellent buy for $1000. Evidently it runs on LP gas, but can be converted to regular gas. It's a big tractor, but very durable. If you don't buy it let me know where it is.!!!! You can find books on tractors in any book store and they show pictures of W4s, W6s and W9s.
