: Where in the deep south you from? Northeast Alabama here. Good corn whiskey should be for drinking only!

: : : : When the owners manual mentions "disstillates" as a fuel that can be used by a 46 'B', what does this mean. Turpentine, grain alcohol or others? How could you determine the octane on these various fuels ? Is there any information available on making your own fuel for these tractors. If Sadamn blows our source of oil, I may need this info. (the nearest beer store is 10 miles and thats to far to walk) Always thirsty, Bonehead

: : : : I'm not sure what all could be run in it, but my father used to run what we called disstillate. It was a raw petroleum (almost gasoline & high in parafin) that came from natural gas wells. The wet methane was run thru a drip pot. The heavier distillate remained in the pot & the gas continued down the pipeline. As far as octane, I'm unsure but you did get some preignition knock.

: : Thanks Jody, but we don't have any oil wells here in the deep south. We do however have some expertise in distillation of grain products. Maybe the question was too tough, or just to boneheaded to respond to. Any way my 50 free hours is up today. Could be awhile before I can get back, so I'm open game. Bonehead

Well, I realize I've painted myself in a corner, using corn whiskey to fuel a tractor to buy beer, "just don't make good sense". But with all the inbreeding, hell, there ain't no telling what I'll say. Can't say where I'm from, out of respect for my state, except to say you Bama boys have always been good customers and we like you until football season. God bless the Bear. Bonehead ( by the way, they gave me another free 50 hours, I will try to do better, but sometimes I just can't help myself.)
