: : Haveing problem getting hydrolics to work, new pump kits installed. No compression in lines, cleaned and changed all filters. bled lines out. We're stuck--any ideas as to nature of problem.

: : I don't know what a 1600 is? I Work for dealer and never heard of one. If the pump is a piston type pump that mounts in front of the engine and runs off the front of the crank shaft(a 10 through 60 series), you could have a problem with the stroke control valve in the pump head. IF its a gear pump its in the control some where. Check for thig in the lines or a broke line. clean with air pressure. I'll look at work for info an a 1600. Work on your sp,its Deere, and hydraulics.
E-mail ME and I'll try and help. JDGnut@aol.com
