Even when a Farmall misses on three cylinders, it's still half as good as greene!
: : : : : : Was doing some work for a neighbor down the road and found a Farmall 400, LP, wide front, in the back of his barn. Asked what he was going to do with it, and he said probably sell it before too long. There it sat with two flats in the front, and hadn't been cranked since last spring. He climbs on and with a couple of cranks it fires and idles perfectly. I would not have even considered it, but after hearing it run, and hearing the price I have to maybe reconsider. $1,500 (possibly less with the good neighbor discount). Farmall buddy of mine in Ohio said it was well worth it due to 400 being hard to find. Any comments?
