I just had mine rebuilt and the cost was close to $500 US. That was with me taking it out of the tractor. You may have a stuck pressure relief valve though. It would be worth replacing that to see if it fixes the problem before getting into the pump. Be sure the oil is clean and fresh and free of water. Good luck
