: : I have noticed a distinct power loss in my 9N. Last
: : weekend it was pulling fine but now it will hardly
: : pull itself out of a hole. It won't spin a wheel or
: : bog down, it just sits there running and won't move.
: : It runs fine on open ground when not under a load.
: : Could the clutch be slipping? It runs smooth but
: : could the carb need adjusting? Someone help me
: : and tell me I don't have a major problem! Thanks

: John, It sounds like it might be your clutch, you can test it by driving the tractor up against something solid (a tree works well)put the tractor in gear, give some gas and let out the clutch. If the motor stalls or the wheel spins your cluth is OK if not you need to adjust or change your clutch

Scott, that's just what I'm talking about. Under load it does not move,
spin or stall. How difficult is it to adjust the clutch?
