First question, how long was your tractor running before it quit? If it was a really cold day, and you immediately went into over-working the engine with a heavy load, --that's your answer. In cold weather it is best to let your tactor, and especially older ones, warm up to or new operating temp. so that oil and other vital fluids are able to flow freely and so that they are not thick like syrup, thus causing damage (ie. oil pump) from being constricted.
As for parts, try your local Case, International dealer. I own a 1959 Case 600 Terratrack bull-dozer that I have been able to get parts for. Sometimes, these tractors used Wisconsin and other mfg. of engines, and if so, try to find a dealer of that particular make.
Also, you may want to try CENTRAL TRACTOR FARM AND COUNTRY at 1-888-8CT FARM
They supply antique through modern tractor parts.
