Danuser and Five Star both offer three inch auger for their PTO driven diggers. If you need an address of a dealer close to you, I may can help. just e-mail me your location.

: : I'd like to drill approximately 3" diameter holes in the ground around the drip line of trees for fertilizer but all the post hole diggers I can find have a minimum of 6" diameter bits. Does anybody know of any device the likes of which could be PTO driven, hydraulic or some such that would do the trick? I've tried (and burned) several drills with the little commonly available bulb planting garden type bits. Thanks and have a good day, John

: Look in Northern catalog. They have gas powered drills with auger bits of several sizes.
