: My Chamberlain D70 3 cylinder supercharged diesel has water in the crankcase (a lot).

: Where is the most likely place for this to come from?

: I notice the water pump driven off the end of the rootes type blower has some movement in the shaft. Could it leak past the water seal into the blower drive and then into the sump?

: Before I pull off the cylinder head I would like to know where else to look.

: Thanks.

If the engine ran hot at all it probably will be the head cracked it can also be coming from the linear seal on the water side of the linear you can pull the oil pan and pressure the water system at the radiator to just below radiator cap release pressure than visiually look at crankcase below linears and see if you have any leakage good luck!
