Applied for two jobs, both up my alley, both in a place I like commuting, two weeks ago.
One gave me the over-qualified.
The other was looking for more experience.
*sigh*
Cross your fingers on the economy though...had four different recruiters drop me emails last week, which is the busiest I've seen it in a year. They weren't what I call serious recruiters, just fishing to see what they could get for bites.
My own freelance work that's been dead as a door knob (which is why I'm looking for a fulltime regular job again) suddenly picked up 3 weeks of work since last Monday and I put in a proposal for another four week job...and I seriously wasn't even looking to do anymore.
