Its been a while, but for yearssssss I was in the used truck and tractor business (talked to and learned from dealers, professional mechanics, truck auctioneers and people in the truck sales business for years on end, and based on my experience and values when I sold a truck) so I can speak from experience WHEN I was in the business and WHERE I was located. Im NOT giving you OPINIONS or liked what dad and grandad liked etc., Im ONLY reporting the FACTS.....
That being said (lawyers love disclaimers lol) when I was in the used truck business where I was located CHEVYS BROUGHT A LOT MORE MONEY AND WERE EASIER TO SELL THEN THE SAME EQUIPPED MAKE N MODEL OF A FORD PERIOD ,,,,,,FACT NOT OPINION
One buddy who sold used trucks for YEARS always laughed and said "ever notice if you walk past a truck and smell hot oil or anti freeze ITS A FORD"
Another buddy (now deceased) who sold a tonnnnnn of used trucks for yearsssssss always laughed at me when I brought a Ford home for sale to which I always responsed BUT YOU CAN BUY THEM SOOOOOO MUCH CHEAPER THEN A CHEVY AT THE AUCTION (which is a pure FACT, NOT talkin Opinion here, that was simply a cold hard FACT, I bought at auctions for years) Then he says YEAH BUT SEE HOW MUCH LONGER IT TAKES BEFORE IT SELLS and laughed at me, and you know he was always RIGHT grrrrrrrrrr
Soooooo not to start a feud ONLY reporting cold hard facts THEN WHEN I WAS A USED TRUCK DEALER CHEVYS BROUGHT WAYYYYYY MORE THEN THE SAME FORD WOULD BRING
