Hey all, I just rescued a home made but well built gasoline driven air compressor from the boneyard at work, I went to check the oil and chocolaty sludge spewed out of the filler hole. Draining it got 1/4- 1/2 qt water out of it. It still spins over by hand easily, so I"d like to get some information on it if anyone can help out, repair info as well as what CFM and pressure it was capable of. If it is a small volume pump than I will just swap it out with a 2 cyl Campbell Hausfeld pump I have from a 2hp unit that burnt out the motor. -Chris
