Hi curt, Most all the internal stuff is generic. Some of the more expensive machines have prioritory controls but I don't think you'll find that with this machine. If the gun is worn out I would change to Tweco if you needed a new one as Tweco is very well made and cheap to buy parts for every where. Most Mig machines are very simular orperated so that may help. T_Bone
