I recently purchased a bead blast cabinet after several months of research. I am in the auto restoration business. I don't use my cabinet daily, but I do use it several times a week. Every cabinet I looked at started at a thousand dollars, and went up from there. I finally bought one from Harbor Freight for $200 plus tax. It is built in China, has horrible electronics on the lighting arrangement and will leak like a sieve unless some type of dust vacuuming system is used. I knew this going in, and I still bought one and consider it a good investment. I used clear silicone to stop the leaking problem, utilize an old half worn out shop vac for dust collection, and made filters out of scotchbrite and course furnace filters to eliminate the media being sucked into the vacuum. I power this thing with "Big Bertha", my 40 cfm Quincy compressor. Naturally, I utilize all the water traps, filters, and other widgets that you need to keep garbage out of the air stream. I fixed the light problem with a $3 switch and an $8 transformer from Radio Shack. I consider my blast cabinet to be used in light to intermittent use, and have saved several hundred dollars in the process. Good luck and enjoy your blast cabinet. All the best..........Greg
