FS80 and FS85 use the same engine. If you plan on maybe adding a brush saw blade later or other attachments then go with the FS85. I own the FS80,FS85, and the FS120. For real heavy and tough grass you can't beat the FS120. It's a lot heavier if you carry it all day and there are some attacchments that are not recommended for it (RPM's are a lot higher than the smaller units)
I also teach small engines and Stihl is excellent when it comes to tech support and warranty work.
