I'm doing housekeeping on site comments. I'm eliminating all posts that are not technical in nature, don't have a reply from us that others will benefit from, or are not suggestions that I need to implement but haven't gotten around to it. This is not to say that other posts aren't useful to us in keeping up with the site, just that they attract troll behavior to leave them out there.
I've said this before but haven't kept up with it. Instead of replying or thanking those who report moderation issues here or have an emotional complaint, we will delete the post after we've observed it and addressed it (if there is action associated with it). Site Comments will retain only the information that will be useful tomorrow and the next day.
Basically, when a post is deleted from Site Comments, don't take it personally.
As always, I would prefer you report moderation issues to Kim through the Report to Moderator links.
