I say that because the nozzle can be changed from fan to pencil beam and you can put it as close to the work as you want. I think most units in the $300-400 price range are about the same. I bought one at HomeDepot for that range and had 2300 psig with a BS 6.5 engine. (see post today in tool talk). Some units are a lot higher if you want all the whistles and bells. After not having one I really like mine. My wife likes to wash algae off sidewalks and porches and wash rugs. You can also wash your house with it. Good luck txblu
