Try this -- disconnect the fuel line at the carb and direct it into a container. Open the fuel valve and watch the flow. It should be a healthy stream of gas. If it's slow or stops after a bit, your problem is a clogged screen in the valve / sediment bowl assembly. If that isn't it, check for spark right away after the engine has died. Post back and let us know what you find -- and you might try the N board for more advice.
