Wanting to install a new temperature gauge and while removing the old one sheared the top brass nut off at top of threads and now can't get bottom brass nut out of head.
Using blaster, tapping on it and 1/2" drive electric impact wrench--that's seen better days.
I'm wondering if they used red locktite on these two brass nuts. If so I believe I'll have to heat to 500 degrees or better to defeat this locktite.
