I just bought a 1945 JD A. Hand start with wico X mag. It sounds like it is not running fast enough. There is not a great difference form idle to wide open. My '52 A that I used to own sounded like it turned a much higher RPM than this one does. How do I check it? Do I need to buy a tool? And what is the wide open RPM suppose to be? Thanks for all and any help. Mark Burlington Flats, NY
