At most pulls up here in Vermont, and New Hampshire most pulls start at 2500 or 2650 3000, then 500 lbs. up to 5000, then 1000lbs on up to 14,000 sometimes 16,000. The bigger classes 9,000 on up are getting a little thin, 2500 to 5000 are pretty crazy. The biggest being 3500-4500. Hey the trophy is the same size at 2500 as 12,500., it sure cost a lot less to haul it around behind a Dodge Dakota than a D21 hooked to a 3500 Dodge Ram, and a 14,000 lbs. trailer.I hope the small classes will always be there for the kids and the folks who can't afford the big stuff, and all that go with it.
