I am on the final piece of my restoration project and I am having fits. I am painting a B Farmall. I have painted everything so far with no problems until I got to the gas tank. I will spare you all the detils of how this gas tank has tortured me and go to what is my current problem. I am using Case IH paint and have primmed with Tractor Supply primer. After primming, I wiped down the tank with a wax/grease remover. I let that dry probably 30 to 45 minutes before I started painting. I mixed the paint with the Case IH hardner and started spraying using a pressure feed gun. I also painted my fenders at the same time. The fenders turned out great, but the top of my gas tank cracked and wrinkled like dried mud at the bottom of a dried up stock tank! I followed the smae process I have done with all other parts on the tractor and have not had this problem until now. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any advice. TKN
