Bolts are made to a specific size to fit wrenches in their bare state.It don't matter what you put on them it will chip off when the wrench is forced on. If you want just paint them with brush AFTER assy.Then you won't see the little chips like you might if you do it the other way. If you powder coat you won't get a wrench on at all. I paint mine after installation with a brush. With the right bristle and paint consistancy you cant tell they weren't sprayed. Use patience and have someone hold a magnifying glass on them and you can do a perfect job without any "wipeoffs".(use primer first)
